Farallon Consulting, L.L.C. has a full-time opening for an entry-level Staff Biologist in our Wenatchee, Washington office.

About us:

Farallon provides an integrated suite of environmental consulting services to a wide range of private- and public-sector clients. Specialty areas include environmental due diligence, site characterization, engineering and remediation services, aquatic and shoreline permitting, stormwater management, and mediation and litigation support. Farallon recently acquired a 15-person environmental consulting firm (formerly Grette Associates) which is now the firm’s new Natural Resources and Permitting Group.

The Natural Resources Permitting Group is an established group of biologists that have been working in the industry since 2002. Our work ranges from supporting major public port developments and sediment remediation actions to aquatic resources permitting for individual landowners. Our biologists specialize in wetlands, critical areas, habitat mitigation and restoration, construction monitoring, permit compliance, habitat surveys and shoreline permitting.

Farallon is headquartered in Issaquah, Washington, with offices in Seattle, Bellingham, Gig Harbor and Wenatchee, Washington; Portland and Baker City, Oregon; and Oakland, and Irvine, California. What we are looking for:

We are looking for a motivated and talented Biologist to join the firm’s Natural Resources Permitting Group in our Wenatchee, Washington office. If you are looking to advance your career while working alongside industry experts, this opportunity is for you! You will be collaborating with colleagues from across our organization to provide environmental solutions to our clients’ environmental challenges.

You should be a self-starter and possess strong technical and writing skills to support a wide range of environmental projects. Our ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented, have excellent verbal communication skills, and a positive attitude.

Pay Range

Our best estimate of the base pay range for this position, located in the Wenatchee Area is $26 to $30.50 per hour. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Farallon reviews and updates salary ranges annually, and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Farallon’s total compensation package for our employee-owners.
